Why would a Christian be interested in Ho'oponopono, isn't it sacrilegious?
Absoluterly not!
The Hawaiian Ho'oponopono forgiveness practice is a simple and gentle technique that has been used for centuries to help its students forgive - just as Jesus admonished us to do - and live a joyful life free of unnecessary quilt, fear, and anger. It is an exceptionally effective method to be able to forgive, which in turn, allows us to accept the love and forgiveness of God that He so wants us to receive.
Ho'oponopono does not add to or change any teachings of our Savior and in the following pages, Angela adapts the basic secular Ho'oponopono method for today's Christians and reveals, through Biblical scripture, how it parallels what Jesus Christ taught so long ago. She explains how Christians can use the Ho'oponopono to worship and feel even closer to the Holy Spirit.

Review
In this book (Page 2-4) we read that Mary Kawena Pukui developed Ho'oponopono into a Hawaiian family process to resolve conflicts. However, this is completely incorrect, Mary Kawena Pukui studied together with the anthropologist E.W. Haertig and Catherine A. Lee only old Hawaiian traditions that she described in, among others, the book Nana I Ke Kumu. Mary Kawena Pukui did not develop or change anything in Ho'oponopono.
From Mary Kawena Pukui the author goes straight to Dr. Hew Len, and forgets to mention Morrnah Simeona, who herself developed the old Ho'oponopono, mixed with New Age, Buddhist and Christian elements, into a completely new system that she also called Ho'oponopono.
Dr. Hew Len, a student of Morrnah Simeona, developed the Ho'oponopono mantra after the death of Morrnah Simeona in 1992.
Angela Parish clearly confuses Mary Kawena Pukui and Morrnah Simeona here.
In the following chapters we read how well the mantra developed by Dr. Hew Len fits in with Christian thought. This is illustrated with various Bible quotes and reflections on forgiveness. Booklet/brochure that is more about Christian concepts in which ho'oponopono is used as a peg; cultural appropriation...

Recensie
Mary Kawena Pukui ontwikkelde of veranderde niets in Ho'oponopono.
